Heads up, Dublin! Starting the week of June 8, AEP will be conducting vegetation management work in designated wooded areas at Darree Fields from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Please avoid marked work areas while crews complete this maintenance within AEP’s easement as part of its Transmission Vegetation Management Program. Treated areas will remain closed for 48 hours following application.
This work helps maintain reliable electric service, protect the power grid, reduce outages and support safe, efficient operations while minimizing environmental impacts and complying with federal, state and local regulations.
AEP will use contracted forestry services who are licensed applicators to complete the work. Please reference the map above and avoid the marked treatment areas during active work and re-entry periods.
